The BBR Motorsports Shock Spring is a 1200 lb spring designed for the BBR Supershock by Elka. This is an optional stiffer spring for heavier or more aggressive adult riders. It is preset and stress relieved for long life, custom wound from aircraft quality spring steel, and features a powder coated finish. Current BBR Perimeter and SuperPro Frames and Swingarm kits come standard with an 1100 lb spring.

The BBR Motorsports 1200 lb Shock Spring is engineered as an optional upgrade for the BBR Supershock by Elka, providing a stiffer rate for heavier or more aggressive adult riders. This spring is custom wound from aircraft quality spring steel and undergoes a preset and stress-relieved process to ensure long-term durability and performance. Its robust construction is further enhanced by a durable powder-coated finish. This 1200 lb spring offers a significant increase in stiffness compared to the standard 1100 lb spring found on current BBR Perimeter and SuperPro Frames and Swingarm kits. This makes it an ideal choice for riders seeking improved support and damping characteristics for more demanding riding conditions or for those who weigh more than the average rider. For reference, other BBR heavy-duty shock springs, like the 660-HXR-1005, are also designed for adult riders and offer up to a 30% increase in stiffness over stock, utilizing similar construction methods including aircraft quality spring steel and a stress-relieved process.
