Description

The Supertech BMEVN-1009 is a set of 12 black nitrided exhaust valves designed for European and Japanese motors. These valves are made from one piece of forged stainless steel and undergo a special heat treatment process to achieve optimal hardness for performance engines.

The black nitrided surface finish provides a smoother stem surface than chrome plating, reducing friction between the stem and guide. This harder surface also offers increased durability for the valve seat, especially when using lead-free fuels, alcohols, or nitro mixes. The nitrided layer adheres well to the base material, preventing flaking or breakage.
