Description

The Supertech HIVN-1020F is an intake valve designed for performance motors. It is made from one piece of forged stainless steel for strength and durability, and undergoes a special heat treatment process. This valve features a black nitrided coating, which is popular for European and Japanese motors.

Key features include a microhardness of 800HV minimum, a smoother surface finish than chromed stems for reduced friction, and a harder valve seat surface that lasts longer with various fuels. The black nitride layer also helps reduce internal engine friction at higher RPMs, contributing to power gains.
