Supertech intake valves are made exclusively from enhanced versions of EV8 (21-4N) steel, the highest grade of steel available, providing strength to withstand various applications. These Black Nitrided Intake Valves feature a 37.50mm (+2.5) dish head diameter, a single groove type, a length of 103.40mm, and a stem diameter of 5.48mm. They are magnetic friction welded wafer, hardened to 52 HRC min, and are one-piece forged (non-magnetic). The black nitride treatment provides superior hardness while maintaining core ductility. Other features include a back-cut angle, a "Superfinish" valve stem with a surface roughness of about 1/3 of a regular valve, and an undercut stem. These features improve durability, reduce carbon buildup, lessen friction, and offer better flow rates and sealing.
