Description

The Supertech MAIVN-1204 is a set of eight black nitride intake valves designed for the 1994-1997 Mazda MX-5/Miata 1.8L engine. These valves are constructed from an enhanced version of EV8 (21-4N) steel, providing high strength for demanding applications.

The valves feature a 33.00mm head diameter and a 5.97mm stem diameter, with a standard length of 102.00mm. They are one-piece forged and non-magnetic, with a magnetic friction-welded wafer hardened to a minimum of 52 HRC. The black nitride coating enhances hardness while retaining core ductility, and the "Superfinish" valve stem has a significantly reduced surface roughness for less friction and improved durability.
