Supertech forged pistons are made from extruded high silicone, enhanced 4032 alloy (with additional Cu, Ni & Mg) for low thermal expansion, excellent wear resistance, and high thermal conductivity. Designed with CAD and FEA, optimized for strength and reliability in naturally aspirated and high-boost turbocharged engines (up to 42psi with alcohol). Features include contact reduction grooves, honed/reamed pin bores, cold extruded chrome moly steel wrist pins, and a 'phosphate dry lubricant' coating to protect rings and enhance skirt lubrication.
