Description

Supertech forged pistons are made from extruded high silicon, enhanced 4032 alloy, offering low thermal expansion, excellent wear resistance, and high thermal conductivity. They undergo a 2 or 3 forging step process and multiple heat treatments for high tensile strength and even hardness. Features include contact reduction grooves, honed and reamed pin bores for precise fit, and H13 Tool Steel wrist pins. A "phosphate dry lubricant" coating protects rings and enhances skirt/cylinder lubrication. Piston rings are manufactured in Japan.
