SUS 304 Stainless Steel Exhaust Downpipe

The A'PEXi GT Powder Coated Downpipe (145-Z001) is engineered to enhance performance in turbocharged vehicles by optimizing exhaust flow. Its primary function is to connect the turbine exhaust housing to the catalytic converter. The design incorporates an enlarged piping diameter (70mm) early in the exhaust system, which significantly boosts exhaust flow capacity and substantially reduces back pressure, leading to increased horsepower. The use of mandrel-bent piping ensures smooth, uninterrupted exhaust flow. Hardware is included for installation. Note that this product is not catalytic converter-equipped. This downpipe is specifically designed for the 1986-1991 Mazda RX-7 FC3S (all models), including the JDM Savanna RX-7 FC3S. It is explicitly stated that this part does not fit the FB (1979-1985) or FD (later model) RX-7. Installation of this product is subject to APEXi's warranty terms, which excludes damages from improper installation, use on unapproved vehicles, incompatible parts, disassembly, alteration, modification, unauthorized repairs, racing or competition use, improper maintenance, or exposure to corrosive conditions. The product warranty is limited to repair, replacement, or credit and is expressly excluded for products purchased outside of the United States and Canada or brought into the region without authorization. This product is not legal for installation on vehicles required to meet CARB standards or registered in California and other CARB-adhering states.
