The Powerflex suspension control arm bushing kit provides a direct-fit, performance-focused alternative to stock rubber bushings that are prone to wear, deflection, and mushy handling. By utilizing advanced polyurethane materials, these bushings offer superior control over suspension geometry, which helps to mitigate common failure symptoms such as uneven tire wear, steering wheel vibrations, and loud clunking noises over bumps. This specific kit (PFF5-1001B) utilizes the racing black compound, which is significantly stiffer than standard rubber or street-focused purple bushings to minimize deflection in demanding, high-performance applications. Due to the increased stiffness of the black racing compound, these parts are not intended for environments where NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness) reduction is the primary concern. Installation of these bushings allows for a more planted and confidence-inspiring driving feel. This kit is compatible with various BMW E38 7-Series models, including the 1995-2001 740i, 740iL, and 750iL, specifically for front lower control arm positions on automatic RWD sedan configurations with M60 or M62 V8 and M73/M73N V12 engines. Please note that parts with the 'BLK' suffix or those used for competition purposes are excluded from the Powerflex Lifetime Warranty.
