The Tractive Suspension Touring Line is a semi-active electronic suspension kit engineered for OE fitment on the Porsche 911 (996) C4, C4S, Turbo, and Turbo S models from 1998-2006. This stand-alone system integrates high-tech semi-active suspension technology into your vehicle, featuring TracTive's patented DDA (Dynamic Damping Adjustment) valve with a rapid reaction time of 6 to 10 milliseconds. This allows for one of the fastest damping adjustments on the market, ensuring tremendous stability and reproducibility. The kit includes a control unit with an integrated g-sensor, a touchscreen display for on-the-fly adjustments, and a wiring harness. The system enables the driver to control roll, pitch, and dive motions, adjusting front and rear axle damping, as well as suspension resistance to roll and pitch/dive in five levels each. The electronic suspension is valved specifically for Road and Track use, balancing comfort for daily driving with sport performance. The dampers are equipped with springs and offer infinite ride height adjustment. TracTive recommends replacing stock top mounts when installing new shock absorbers. The kit includes front coil-over shocks with a 38mm piston diameter and rear coil-overs with a 46mm piston diameter, utilizing emulsion oil/gas damping systems.
