Description

The GM 1997201 is a direct replacement valve for fuel tank evaporator/purge control systems. This genuine GM part is manufactured by General Motors and is new, meeting OEM standards for performance and fitment.

This valve, also known as a Vapor Canister Purge Solenoid, plays a role in the Evaporative Emission Control (EVAP) system by controlling vapor flow from the charcoal canister to the engine.
