This technology applies pressure to the inner wheel after casting, stretching and forming the material, similar to forged wheels. This results in greater strength and shock-resistance over conventional cast wheels, leading to overall better vehicle performance. The manufacturing process involves a specially made casting placed onto a steel rim, extensive heat and pressure applied with three individual rollers to shape the aluminum, fortifying the barrel to the specified width and density, and hardening the molecular compound of the aluminum for a tolerant and considerably lighter wheel. The wheels are precision-engineered for optimal performance and looks, lightweight, track-ready, and feature a two-piece center cap for customization. The SL (Step Lip Concave) configuration, specifically for the Forged Series, utilizes a center disk that is 1" smaller in diameter to reduce weight, unsprung mass, and improve return on inertia. This configuration also features a unique concave spoke profile and a signature undercut for improved aerodynamics.
