The ZZP Ecotec Replacement Ball Joint Kit is engineered as a direct replacement for Ecotec and Delta platform vehicles, offering precise tolerances that surpass those of some other aftermarket control arm manufacturers. ZZP provides these ball joints in two sizes: 19.5mm and 20.5mm, to accommodate the range of Ecotec/Delta platform cars. The 19.5mm ball joint is suitable for the LSJ Cobalt SS, Saturn Ion Redline, and base models of the Ion, Cobalt, and HHR. The larger 20.5mm ball joint is specifically for the turbocharged LNF Cobalt SS and LNF HHR SS. ZZPerformance cautions that other vendors often incorrectly list smaller ball joints for LNF models, so purchasing from ZZP ensures accuracy and a smoother installation. This kit comes fully assembled with ball joints, control arm bushings, and trailing arm bushings. It includes both bolts and locking nuts, along with buck rivets for installation flexibility. Note that depending on the brand of aluminum control arm installed, you may need to slightly enlarge the original mounting holes to accommodate the new hardware. The ball joints are sold individually.
