The H&R TRAK+ Wheel Spacers System DR are designed to enhance the look and handling of your Mazda MX-5, Roadster. Each spacer in this set measures 20mm, providing a total track widening of 40mm per axle. These spacers are compatible with both OEM and aftermarket wheels and suspension systems, making them an ideal complement to lowering springs or coilovers. By properly filling the wheel arches, these spacers significantly improve the vehicle's aesthetics and driving dynamics. Constructed from a high-strength, lightweight aluminum/magnesium alloy, these spacers are precision CNC machined for accuracy. They are hard anodized to ensure greater surface hardness and superior corrosion resistance. The spacers are engineered and manufactured in Germany, reflecting H&R's commitment to quality. Installation involves fitting the spacers between the wheel and the axial hub using longer bolts, which must be ordered separately. When ordering, it is crucial to verify the specifics of the required bolts, including the taper or round bolt head and shaft length, as well as the cone type (taper, round, loose round, or flat). The length of the new bolts must be approximately half of the total track widening. The source material also advises checking for clearance with the brake system and ensuring the wheel screws do not interfere with components like ABS sensors, noting a maximum tolerance of only 2mm for some vehicles. These spacers are not usable with steel rims.
