The IE Engineering Adjustable Front Sway Bar Upgrade is engineered to provide extreme control and agility for AWD VW MK7/MK8 and Audi 8V platforms. Constructed from a 28mm outer dimension spring steel with a 4.5mm wall thickness, this sway bar is optimized for precise handling and exceptional strength for track use, while still maintaining a comfortable ride for daily commuting. The included Teflon-lined polyurethane bushings significantly reduce flex between the sway bar and chassis for a tighter suspension feel and are coated to ensure squeak-free operation. The mounting position can be adjusted to achieve either a 73% increase in stiffness (rear position) or a more aggressive 104% increase (front position). Installation is a direct bolt-on process, but it does require lowering the subframe and a professional alignment afterward, with an average installation time of around 3 hours. This sway bar is compatible with the VW Golf R (MK8 2022-2025, MK7/MK7.5 2015-2021), VW Alltrack (MK7/MK7.5 2017-2021), VW 4Motion SportWagon (MK7/MK7.5 2017-2019), VW Tiguan (MQB/Gen3 2018-2024), Audi S3 (8V/8V.5 2015-2021), and Audi A3 (AWD, 8V/8V.5 2015-2021).
