The Roadmaster Inc. 1139-122 Sway Bar Kit is designed to significantly improve the handling and stability of heavy-duty vehicles such as RVs, SUVs, pickup trucks, and Sprinter vans. This enhancement is achieved by effectively minimizing body roll, pitching, and sway, particularly when encountering crosswinds, passing semi-trucks, or navigating uneven road surfaces. The sway bar is constructed from a robust 4140 "chromoly" steel alloy (chrome and molybdenum), offering superior strength and durability compared to the standard spring steel used in many OEM sway bars. It features a thicker diameter than stock sway bars, which exponentially increases torsional roll stiffness, providing up to 90% more resistance to sway. The kit also includes high-performance polyurethane bushings that are resistant to gas, oil, ozone corrosion, and abrasion, outperforming conventional rubber bushings in durability and load-bearing capabilities. Each sway bar is finished with a baked-on powder coating for an extremely durable and long-lasting protective layer.
