Swing-Out Rear Tire Carrier

The GenRight Off Road Swing-Out Rear Tire Carrier is constructed from 1-3/4" diameter x .188" thick wall 6061-T6 Aluminum Alloy tubing, weighing a mere 21lbs. This aluminum version is 20lbs lighter than the steel option. It is 100% TIG welded and designed to accommodate tires from 33" up to 42" with a maximum width of 14.5". The carrier features a secure 4-point polyurethane mounting system that is rattle-free and designed to prevent it from opening on its own. It mounts to the factory rear door hinges, providing a strong and stable attachment. The GenRight Off Road Swing-Out Tire Carrier is completely independent of the rear bumper, allowing for compatibility with various aftermarket rear bumpers. This tire carrier is made in the USA and requires drilling six 1/4" holes on the driver's side rear area by the tail light to mount the latch plate. It is sold unpainted and can be left raw, painted, or powder coated for a custom finish. The design includes a cover for the factory license plate location and is pre-drilled for license plate and 3rd brake light wiring. The license plate is re-located to the center mount on the tire carrier.
