The Clevite MS-1344A Engine Crankshaft Main Bearing Set is an OE Replacement bearing set crafted from high-quality AL-5 aluminum. These bearings are designed to meet or exceed Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specifications. The Clevite MS-1344A is engineered with 100% lead-free aluminum silicon, featuring 60% more silicon than comparable competitive replacements, which provides superior conditioning of journal surfaces, reducing wear and extending the life of the engine. With maximum wall thickness and precise vertical oil clearance, these bearings ensure smooth operation and reduced friction. The MS1344P-20 (a variation) is a Clevite 77 P-Series bearing, intended for high-revving engines, with higher eccentricity and a high crush factor, built on steel backings with extra-thin overlays to prevent overlay fatigue. The oil grooves on most applications extend all the way around both halves for better oiling.
