The Tomei Type-A Valve Spring Kit is engineered for high-performance Nissan SR20DE and SR20DET engines, supporting operation up to 7500 RPM. These springs are crucial for accurately transferring camshaft motion to the valves during high engine speeds, enhancing reliability and providing improved initial response. The nitride surface treatment further increases longevity and performance. Each spring features a 4.0mm diameter, a set length of 40.0mm, and a lift length of 27.5mm, with a compatible lift of 12.5mm. The set load is 25.6 +/- 7% kgf, and the lift load is 81.6 +/- 7% kgf. This kit is designed for applications including the Nissan S13, S14, and S15 chassis, specifically the 180SX and Silvia models from 1991 to 2002 equipped with the SR20DE or SR20DET engines. The kit includes 16 valve springs. Tomei emphasizes extensive testing for durability, quality, and performance, aiming to provide reliable components that allow users to save time and money on their builds.
