The Blue Ox SwayPro Weight Distribution Hitch is an innovative hitch designed to handle both weight distribution and sway prevention. It uses loaded spring bars, rotating latches, and an integrated hitch head to distribute weight evenly over the axles of the tow vehicle and trailer, preventing sway. The trunnions in the hitch head employ a caster effect, pushing inward to keep the trailer in line. It improves steering control and braking by putting more weight on the towing vehicle's front tires, providing a safer and easier towing experience. Options are available for 2″ and 2.5″ receivers, and it works with standard or underslung couplers. It features a 7-hole, 9-hole, or 11-hole shank option and is available for 6 different tongue weights (350 lbs., 550 lbs., 750 lbs., 1,000 lbs., 1,500 lbs., and 2,000 lbs.) with a maximum gross towing weight of 20,000 lbs. It is constructed from heavy-duty steel with a black powder coat finish and comes pre-installed with a chrome-plated 2-5/16″ hitch ball.
