The DSS Racing 8133-4030 is a set of forged pistons designed for Small Block Chevy 383 engines. These SX Series pistons feature a -16cc dish top and are compatible with SBC 23-degree cylinder heads.

Constructed from premium 4032 low expansion alloy, these pistons are forged and machined in the USA. They have a 4.030 inch bore size, a 1.125 inch compression height, and a 0.927 inch pin diameter. The ring groove size is 1/16-1/16-3/16".

The DSS Racing 8133-4030 piston set is engineered for Small Block Chevy 383 cubic inch engines, specifically designed for performance applications. These SX Series pistons are forged from a premium 4032 low expansion alloy, ensuring durability and performance. They feature a -16cc dish top, designed to work with SBC 23-degree cylinder heads, and have a 4.030 inch bore size. Key specifications include a 1.125 inch compression height, a 0.927 inch pin diameter (suitable for full floating or press fit), and ring grooves measuring 1/16-1/16-3/16". The pistons are also compatible with a 3.750" crankshaft stroke and 6.000" connecting rods. Additional features of the SX Series pistons include CNC machined valve reliefs for moderate performance heads and cam combinations, drilled bottom ring land intersecting oil groove drain-backs, and forged drain-back windows. The set is forged and machined in the USA, emphasizing quality and domestic manufacturing. This specific part number is sold without rings, but a kit option with DSS Racing rings is available.
