SYNC3 Retrofit Kit

The Ford SYNC3 retrofit kit provides a comprehensive upgrade path for your 2015-2018 Ford Focus, transforming its original 4-inch SYNC 1 system into a larger, more capable 8-inch SYNC 3 infotainment experience. This kit utilizes 100% genuine Ford parts, ensuring seamless integration and retaining all your vehicle's original functionalities. Key features of this SYNC 3 upgrade include enhanced mobile device support through Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, with an option for wireless connectivity. The system comes loaded with the latest and most stable 2023 V3.4 software, along with voice-activated navigation powered by the 2023 NA222 maps for the USA and Canada. The kit is plug-and-play, requiring no cutting of wires and is pre-programmed with your vehicle's VIN to ensure a tailored installation. It meticulously retains all factory features, such as the rear camera, climate controls, steering wheel controls, and heated/cooled seats. Included in the package are the Genuine Ford SYNC3 APIM module, an 8-inch capacitive touchscreen, screen-to-module cable, GPS antenna, USB HUB, USB HUB bezel (if needed), a conversion power harness, radio bezel, and mounting brackets. A Forscan OBD2 programming tool is also provided as a backup for online programming, particularly if you've made modifications or added features beyond the factory setup. This tool can also be used for future system upgrades. It is important to note that this upgrade is specifically designed for 2015-2018 Ford Focus models equipped with the 4-inch SYNC system. Manual climate control systems cannot be upgraded to automatic climate control using this solution. While the kit is covered by a one-year warranty, it does not affect the vehicle's original Ford factory warranty. Furthermore, this kit does not add SYNC Connect or FordPass functionality.
