The Synapse DV001A.005 Synchronic Diverter Valve is a cutting-edge component designed for turbocharged applications, offering a significant upgrade over traditional diaphragm-based blow-off valves. Its innovative Synchronic actuation technology replaces the diaphragm with a robust piston actuator, eliminating wear points and the need for frequent lubrication. This results in a maintenance-free operation and exceptionally fast response times, crucial for preventing compressor surge and maintaining optimal boost control. Constructed from aerospace-grade aluminum with a forged billet 6061 actuator assembly, the DV001A.005 is built for durability and performance. It has been pressure tested to reliably hold up to 60 PSI of boost. Its compact form factor allows for flexible mounting options, even in tight engine bays. This diverter valve is compatible with any OE turbocharged EFI vehicle that uses 1.25" (32mm) ID hoses for its OE BPV connections. While it boasts universal compatibility with standard BOV adapter flanges, it is important to note that no flanges are included with this kit; adapters are sold separately. Boost and vacuum connections are made via 1/8th NPT threaded bosses that accept either Boost Connect or included nickel-plated-brass barb fittings. Positive lock clamshell retainers are also included for secure fitment. The Synapse DV001A.005 is specifically noted for applications including the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 7, 8, 9, and 10, as well as the Ralliart, 3000GT VR4, and Dodge Stealth TT. It is also a suitable replacement for Large Diameter Bosch Diverter Valves.
