Synthetic Brake Fluid DOT 3 & 4

The Valvoline 601458 is a synthetic brake fluid engineered to provide superior protection and reliable braking performance for vehicles requiring DOT 3 or DOT 4 fluid. It boasts a high dry boiling point of up to 480°F, effectively resisting fluid evaporation and preventing brake failure, especially under extreme driving conditions. This fluid meets or exceeds SAE J1703, SAE J1704, FMVSS No. 116, and DOT 4 standards. This brake fluid is compatible with all ABS, drum, and disc brake systems. The fluid is suitable for hydraulic and disc brake applications and is designed to be mixed with all DOT 3 and DOT 4 fluids. It is crucial to never mix DOT 5 silicone-based fluid with glycol-based fluids like DOT 3, DOT 4, or DOT 5.1, as they are completely incompatible and can form a thick sludge, leading to brake system failure.
