Its versatile formulation makes it suitable for a broad spectrum of industrial uses, with a particular emphasis on electric-motor lubrication. Key features of Unirex N grease include exceptional performance across a wide temperature range, from -20°C up to 190°C. The lithium-complex thickener provides excellent resistance to softening and washout at elevated temperatures, ensuring it stays in place and continues to lubricate effectively. Laboratory tests indicate outstanding continuous lubrication performance at bearing temperatures up to 140°C, contributing to extended service life and reduced maintenance. Beyond its thermal stability, this grease offers very good low-temperature characteristics, with low start-up power requirements down to at least -20°C. It also boasts excellent mechanical stability, resisting softening even with significant mechanical working, and provides robust protection against water washout and corrosion. For high-speed applications, its channelling characteristics ensure reliable performance in deep-groove ball bearings. It's important to note that UNIREX N greases are not intended for extreme pressure conditions where anti-welding properties are paramount.
