This formulation provides a high dropping point, excellent resistance to water wash, and tenacious structural stability, making it ideal for demanding applications. Specifically developed through close collaboration with OEMs, this grease ensures exceptional performance in aircraft wheel bearings. Laboratory tests confirm its ability to deliver long grease life, enhanced bearing protection, and extended bearing life, even across a wide temperature range. The synthetic hydrocarbon base oils were chosen for their exceptional thermal and oxidative resistance, combating high thermal exposure. Key features of Mobil Aviation Grease SHC 100 include a high viscosity index (VI) base stock with no wax content, enabling wide application temperature ranges with excellent protection at high temperatures and low starting torque. It offers outstanding high and low-temperature performance, providing thicker fluid films to protect wear in hot operating conditions. The grease also provides excellent protection against wear, rust, and corrosion, leading to reduced downtime and maintenance costs. Its excellent structural stability and oxidation resistance allow for long intervals between re-lubrication and improved bearing life. Furthermore, its outstanding structural stability in the presence of water ensures excellent grease retention in wet environments, and its low volatility minimizes lubricant oil loss.
