This synthetic oil is specifically formulated for demanding applications that experience high final compression temperatures or where extended oil drain intervals are a priority. Featuring outstanding thermal and oxidation stability, the Mobil SHC Rarus Series helps reduce maintenance downtime by extending oil drain intervals. Its excellent varnish and sludge control contribute to compressor cleanliness and extended oil life. The high-performance synthetic base stocks, combined with a high viscosity index, provide a wide operating temperature range and effective lubrication even at high temperatures. This lubricant offers robust equipment protection, including high load-carrying capability to minimize unexpected downtime and extend service periods. It also provides exceptional resistance to rusting and corrosion, along with very good anti-wear properties, demulsibility, foam control, air release, and multi-metal compatibility. Furthermore, its excellent water separability helps reduce carryover to downstream equipment, minimizes sludge formation, and prevents blockages in coalescers and coolers.
