The Mobil Synturion 6 Specialty Lubricant is a premium, synthetic-base fluid engineered to address the rigorous lubrication and cooling needs of mechanical seals, with the goal of extending their operational lifespan. Its formulation leverages the inherent qualities of polyalphaolefin synthetic base oil, augmented by a proprietary additive package, ensuring optimal performance in mechanical seal applications. Its low viscosity reduces internal friction and aids in heat transfer from seal surfaces, keeping seals cooler and thereby extending their life. The lubricant boasts outstanding thermal and oxidative stability, enabling it to function effectively at high operating temperatures by resisting deposit formation. Furthermore, its excellent lubricity and anti-wear protection reduce friction in sliding mechanisms like seal faces, potentially leading to lower steady-state operating temperatures and increased efficiency.
