SYSTEM WITH ROTARY RUDDER FEEDBACK

The SI-TEX SP-70 Handheld Autopilot System is a reliable workhorse for cruising and fishing, easily installed on outboard, inboard, and sterndrive vessels with hydraulic or mechanical steering. It features an ultra-compact, waterproof Control Unit with simple keypad operation and a large LCD for display of heading course, rudder angle, operating mode, and error messages. It can be dash-mounted or used as a handheld, and additional steering stations can be added. It includes a built-in NMEA-0183 Loran/GPS interface for precise course-line navigation, backlit displays with ten levels of brightness, digital displays of rudder angle and operation mode, automatic Sea State and Trim Controls, ten selectable levels of rudder sensitivity, rudder feedback, Ghost Rudder backup, Heading Output for radar stabilization, built-in diagnostics, and visual/audible alarms. It also offers Power Steering mode and Stand By mode for manual steering and works with solenoid valves. Optional analog Rudder Angle Indicators are available.
