The Specialty Z SZ Flywheel represents a redesign focused on durability and performance for the Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo Z32. Constructed from a single piece of lightweight Chromoly Steel, it avoids failure points found in multi-piece designs. Weighing slightly over 12 pounds, this flywheel contributes to freeing up engine power and enables faster engine revving than the stock unit, enhancing the vehicle's responsiveness. This flywheel is specifically engineered for the TT 300ZX. However, it can also be adapted for use on naturally aspirated (NA) models. This conversion requires appropriate bell housing modifications to the NA manual transmission, the use of a TT clutch, and a starter shim. The flywheel comes balanced from the factory, simplifying the installation process. Its construction from Chromoly Steel ensures robustness for demanding applications.
