T1000-4ad 4-Channel Amplifier

The Rockford Fosgate T1000-4ad is a 4-channel amplifier designed to deliver both high fidelity sound and efficient power delivery. It combines the desirable sonic characteristics of Class-A designs with the efficiency of Class-D amplification, creating a full-range solution for car audio systems. This amplifier boasts a total RMS power output of 1000 watts. Specifically, it can deliver 250 watts RMS x 4 channels into a 4-ohm load, 250 watts RMS x 4 channels into a 2-ohm load, and 250 watts RMS x 4 channels into a 1-ohm load. For increased power, it can be bridged to provide 500 watts RMS x 2 channels into either 4-ohm or 2-ohm loads, demonstrating its 2-ohm stable bridged operation. Featuring a Class-AD topology, the T1000-4ad ensures efficient operation with less current draw. It supports a wide frequency response of 20Hz to 20kHz +/-1dB and includes onboard tone controls for both front and rear channels, offering up to +18dB bass boost at 45Hz and +12dB treble boost at 12kHz. The crossover controls are fully adjustable from 50Hz to 500Hz with a 24dB/octave Butterworth slope for both high-pass and low-pass filtering. Built with a MOSFET power supply and output stage, this amplifier incorporates several Rockford Fosgate technologies for enhanced performance and reliability. These include MEHSA 3 for reduced heat and improved durability, Differential Inputs to minimize noise, NOMAD for real-time protection against shorts and low impedances, and Constant Power circuitry for optimized output across varying impedance loads. It is also CTA-2006 compliant, ensuring its power ratings are realistic and industry-standard. The amplifier has dimensions of 2.14" H x 8.14" W x 14.91" L and requires 4 AWG power wire and 8 AWG to 16 AWG speaker wire.
