The DK2 T1000 Series 10,000 LB Winch is a severe duty utility winch designed for trucks or SUVs. It boasts a 10,000 lb single line pull rating and is available with a choice of steel or synthetic line. Powering this winch is a robust 4.6 KW / 6.2 HP 12V series wound brass DC motor. The winch and its control box are IP68 rated, ensuring protection against dust, dirt, and water. It features full-steel 3-stage planetary gearing with a 228:1 gear ratio and a free-spooling clutch. An external braking system is integrated to prevent heat buildup. The winch is finished with a corrosion and chemical resistant black powder-coat and has a 10" x 4.5" mounting bolt pattern. It comes with a limited lifetime mechanical warranty and a 3-year electrical warranty, and is designed and engineered in Britain.
