This amplifier is specifically optimized for subwoofers, providing a cleaner, louder, and more impressive listening experience. Featuring a Class BD circuit topology, the T1500-1bdCP offers high efficiency with an average of 86.2% at 4-Ohm, 74.6% at 2-Ohm, and 63.0% at 1-Ohm. The amplifier boasts a robust power output, delivering 1000 Watts RMS x 1 at 4-Ohms and 1500 Watts RMS x 1 at both 2-Ohm and 1-Ohm. Its frequency response ranges from 20Hz to 250Hz +/- 0.5dB, with a low-pass crossover adjustable from 35-250Hz at 24dB/octave. A built-in Punch Bass EQ provides up to +18dB at 45Hz, and an infrasonic filter is included at 28Hz. Installation requires careful consideration, including a 4 AWG power/ground connector and a recommended 200A fuse. The amplifier is convection-cooled and operates within a 9-16 VDC range. It is CTA-2006 Compliant, ensuring its power ratings are real-world numbers. The "Widow Maker" designation refers to its unique design with a red "RF" logo on a silver distressed theme. Rockford Fosgate offers a 2-year warranty on this amplifier. Professional installation services are available at select ABC Warehouse locations.
