The Stillen DBA3149S brake rotors are engineered as a direct replacement for your vehicle's rear braking system, offering enhanced performance beyond standard OE levels. Manufactured by Disc Brakes Australia (DBA), these rotors are part of their Street Series, featuring a T2 slot design for improved braking effectiveness and a smoother pedal feel. Constructed from high-carbon alloyed iron, these rotors are treated with Thermal Stability Profiling (TSP) to withstand extreme heat generated during intense braking. This advanced ventilation minimizes brake fade, increases braking effectiveness, and prolongs the service life of both pads and rotors. The T2 slot design features 48 precision CNC-machined slots that are tri-symmetrical to dampen vibration harmonics and noise, creating a quieter, more responsive, and smoother brake pedal feel. This universal slot design also increases the number of out-gassing exit points for brake pad friction gasses, further enhancing performance and eliminating the need for left and right specific discs. These rotors also include Thermographic Temperature Monitoring, with heat paint markings that change color at specific temperature thresholds to indicate peak braking temperatures, allowing for better monitoring of rotor fatigue. Additionally, paint protection is applied to non-friction areas to reduce corrosion and enhance appearance. The DBA3149S rotors have an outside diameter of 314mm, a nominal thickness of 20mm, and a center hole diameter of 76mm. They are specifically designed for the 2022 Hyundai Veloster N (rear), and also compatible with the Hyundai Kona N (2022-2023) and Hyundai i30 N PD (2017-).
