Show original supplier description

The DBA DBA2954S is a pair of T2 Street Series brake rotors engineered to offer daily drivers an enhanced braking experience with improved aesthetics. Designed as an OE replacement, these rotors are an accessible upgrade for those looking to surpass standard braking performance. At the core of the DBA2954S is DBA's patented 'Kangaroo Paw' ventilation design. This innovative system utilizes a series of diamond and teardrop-shaped pillars to significantly increase surface area and cooling efficiency, reducing heat buildup and effectively preventing rotor warping. This ensures more consistent and reliable braking performance, even under demanding conditions. The T2 curve slots on these rotors are precisely machined to provide a number of benefits. They contribute to a quieter operation, a more responsive brake pedal feel, and a smoother overall braking experience. Furthermore, the slotting promotes even pad wear, which helps to reduce pad glazing and prolong the life of both the rotor and the brake pads. The non-friction surface is treated with a protective paint to maintain a clean appearance. Installation is straightforward as no modifications are typically needed to replace stock rotors. These DBA T2 Street Series rotors are specifically designed for the front of 2007-2011 Mazda 3 models. They are recommended for normal commute and performance street driving, fitting a medium budget range for performance upgrades.
