T2 Turbo Manifold for 1.8L Miata

The Begi turbo manifold is a redesigned component engineered for 1.8 Miatas, built upon a proven track record for strength and power. It features a T2 bolt pattern, making it compatible with the most popular Miata turbocharger sizes. This manifold has undergone redesign based on CFD testing, resulting in a 24% increase in flow capacity and a weight reduction of over 2.5 lbs compared to its predecessor. When paired with the new outlet, the entire manifold/turbo/outlet assembly is nearly 4 lbs lighter. The staggered runner diameters are optimized to ensure consistent timing of exhaust pulses into the turbine, promoting faster spool and the potential for higher power output. The manifold and outlet are finished with a Cerakote coating in C-7900 Glacier Titanium, which is rated for 1,800°F (980°C). This coating helps maintain the manifold's appearance and slows heat transfer into the engine bay. The new components are a direct replacement for older versions. It is recommended to reuse the existing exhaust manifold gasket. However, the use of a gasket between the turbo and manifold is discouraged due to a high failure rate and is not necessary for sealing the joint. Fitment includes 1994-1997, 1999-2005, and 2004-2005 MSM models. The EGR fitting is the 1999-00 style (M22x1.5 thread pitch). For 2001-05 models, a stock 1999-00 pipe is required. For 1994-97 models, a custom EGR pipe is necessary. Note that due to the improved flow, users may need to lower their boost levels if fuel delivery is a limiting factor, as equivalent power can be achieved at lower boost pressures.
