The Elevate Volvo V50 T5 Performance Air Intake is an engine performance component designed to increase power and torque. It features a large, washable, and reusable dry air filter element with nearly 2.5 times the surface area of the stock filter. The intake pipe is constructed from precision-formed, powder-coated 3.5" aluminum and is available with silicone hoses in multiple color options.

The ELEVATE Volvo V50 T5 Air Intake is engineered to deliver maximum power and torque gains for the T5 engine by increasing flow and capacity compared to the stock air box. It can be used independently or combined with the ELEVATE Turbo Intake Pipe for a complete system. This filter offers almost 2.5 times the surface area of the factory panel filter, maximizing airflow and filtration. A removable, washable, water-repellent cover for the air filter is also included to protect against water ingress and extend cleaning intervals. The intake features a precision-bent 3.5" diameter aluminum tube with a bright silver powder-coated finish for heat reflection and aesthetics. Testing indicated that the 3.5" pipe yields better power gains than a 3" pipe. The system includes a machined pin for secure attachment to a factory mounting point and uses silicone hoses and clamps for connection to the MAF sensor. Available silicone hose colors include Black, Blue, Red, and Clear. An aluminum bracket, powder-coated in black, is included to mount the ECU in the engine bay, allowing for ample airflow over its cooling fins. This design has been tested in high-temperature conditions to ensure adequate ECU cooling. Note that this product may not be legal for use on all road vehicles; checking local laws is advised.
