T56 Magnum-F 6-Speed Manual Transmission

The Tremec TUET16363 T-56 MAGNUM-F is a 6-speed manual performance transmission engineered for GM applications, specifically designed as a bolt-in swap for the 2004-2006 Pontiac GTO. This transmission boasts the strongest torque and power rating of any 6-speed transmission produced, with a robust capacity of 700 lb-ft of torque. This wide-ratio unit features gear ratios of 2.97, 2.10, 1.46, 1.00, 0.80, and 0.63. Its internal components include gears with substantially increased face widths and 2-piece laser-beam welded construction for enhanced tooth control. It also incorporates a robust combination of double and triple cone synchronizers, enhanced main case webbing, and provisions for a cooler circuit. The transmission is constructed from 100% brand-new, OEM-quality content, and includes a one-piece countershaft and 4616 chromoly gears and shafts. It uses the GTO tailcase for direct compatibility with older Tremec or LS T56 transmissions, though the shifter itself is not included. A one-piece driveshaft is required for installation.
