Takeda Stage-2 Cold Air Intake System

The aFe Power Takeda Stage-2 Cold Air Intake System is engineered to enhance performance for your 2013-2015 Acura ILX L4 2.0L Gas and 2012-2015 Honda Civic L4 1.8L Gas vehicles. This system outflows the factory intake by 17%, offering a noticeable improvement in engine breathing. It features a one-piece roto-molded intake tube and housing that integrates with the factory lower airbox, retaining the factory ram air scoop to ensure a constant supply of cool air. The sealed design helps to keep warm engine air out, maximizing power gains. At its core is a 360-degree conical Pro 5R performance air filter. This filter utilizes five layers of progressively finer mesh cotton gauze media to provide maximum airflow, contributing to increased performance and a more intoxicating induction noise. The intake tube and housing have been dyno-tested to maximize air velocity, resulting in gains of up to 6 horsepower and 7 lb-ft of torque, as well as improved throttle response and potentially better gas mileage. Installation is designed to be quick and hassle-free, taking approximately 20 minutes, and includes all necessary hardware and a filter restore kit.
