The aFe Power Takeda Stage-2 Cold Air Intake System is engineered to enhance airflow and performance for select Lexus IS models. This system is designed as a direct replacement for the factory intake, aiming to improve horsepower, torque, and overall styling. The core of this intake is the Pro 5R performance air filter. This filter is characterized by its large, 5-inch tall conical design and 360-degree radial flow capability. It is constructed with five layers of progressively finer mesh cotton, offering a balance between high airflow and effective filtration. The filter comes pre-oiled, ready for installation. This Takeda Stage-2 system is designed for a hassle-free installation, replacing the stock intake components. It features dual mandrel-bent tubing to ensure smooth airflow into the engine. This intake system is confirmed to fit the Lexus IS 250, IS 300, and IS 350 models from 2006 through 2020, specifically those equipped with V6 engines displacing 2.5L or 3.5L.
