Description

The Hawk Performance HKC5174.245B is a front brake kit that includes drilled & slotted Talon rotors and HPS 5.0 brake pads. It is designed for street performance with increased stopping power and reduced brake dust compared to other performance pads. The rotors are made from Grade 3000 Cast Iron, are black coated for corrosion resistance, and feature Hawk's DTC curved slot design for improved brake pad bite, heat dissipation, and wet braking. The HPS 5.0 compound is a Ferro-Carbon compound that provides aggressive torque, good rotor and pad wear, smooth control, and high rates of deceleration. It has an operating temperature range of 100-750°F and an optimal temperature range of 100-550°F.
