The Hawk Performance Talon brake rotor and pad kit offers a performance brake upgrade. These kits are manufactured to work seamlessly together, including a choice of Hawk brake pad compound (LTS in this case) and a pair of high-quality Talon rotors. The Hawk LTS (Light Truck and SUV) compound is ideal for light trucks and SUVs, dramatically improving stopping power and fade resistance, outlasting competitors in rotor and pad wear. It provides a strong, balanced initial bite (hot or cold), excellent resistance to fade, ferro-carbon friction, low dust, and excellent pad and rotor life. The operating and optimal temperature range is 100-700 degrees Fahrenheit. The Talon slotted rotors are made from Grade 3000 Cast Iron, engineered to OE specifications, weights, and production processes, and feature a DTC-curved slot design for improved brake pad "bite", reduced noise, improved heat dissipation, and wet braking. They are corrosion and galling resistant due to a Black Magni brake rotor coating and are salt-spray tested per ISO-9227, exceeding the 240 hours requirement.
