The Hawk Performance Talon Brake Rotor and Pad Kit offers a performance brake upgrade. These kits include Hawk brake pads (HPS 5.0 compound) coupled with a pair of high-quality Talon rotors, manufactured to work seamlessly together. The HPS 5.0 compound is a Ferro-Carbon compound designed to provide increased street performance, aggressive torque, great rotor and pad wear, smooth and predictable control, high rates of deceleration, and consistent release characteristics. It operates optimally between 100-550°F and has a maximum operating temperature of 750°F. The Talon Drilled & Slotted rotors are high-carbon, G3000 metallurgy cast iron rotors built to OE specifications and engineered to fit without modification. They feature Hawk Performance's unique DTC curved slot design, precision CNC machining, and a black Magni coating barrier for corrosion resistance. The rotors are balanced and incorporate precision milled slots to reduce harmonic resonance, maintain a clean pad surface, expel debris, and optimize thermal efficiency, heat dissipation, strength, and wet braking. They are salt-spray tested per ISO-9227, exceeding the 240-hour requirement.
