Hawk Performance Talon brake rotor and pad kits offer a performance brake upgrade. These kits include Hawk HPS 5.0 brake pad compound and high-quality Talon rotors, engineered to work seamlessly together. The Hawk HPS 5.0 compound is a Ferro-Carbon compound designed for street performance, providing aggressive torque, great rotor and pad wear, smooth and predictable control, high rates of deceleration, and consistent release characteristics. It operates optimally between 100-550°F (100-750°F operating range). Talon Drilled & Slotted rotors are high-carbon, G3000 metallurgy, built to OE specifications, weights, and production processes. They feature Hawk Performance’s unique and proprietary DTC curved slot design, precision CNC machined for improved pad "bite," heat dissipation, wet braking, and reduction in noise. They are balanced and incorporate precision milled slots to reduce harmonic resonance issues. The rotors are weather-fortified with a Black Magni brake rotor coating for superior corrosion resistance and quick, easy bed-in, exceeding the 240-hour ISO-9227 salt-spray test. The ceramic pad compounds are designed to provide smooth braking power at high speeds and temperatures while producing virtually no noise, vibration, or dust. They offer longer pad life and are easier on brake rotors, designed to the precise tolerances of factory parts for proper fit and operation of anti-lock brakes.
