Hawk Talon Drilled & Slotted rotors are quality high carbon rotors that will last and perform well on street applications. The slotted-only version will hold up to moderate track use. Hawk Performance Ceramic is engineered to reduce brake NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness) and delivers excellent performance, reduced brake pad wear, longer rotor life, and a quiet ride. Talon Rotors are produced from Grade 3000 Cast Iron, black coated, and feature a DTC-curved slot design for improved brake pad "bite", thermal efficiency, heat dissipation, strength, and wet braking. They are balanced and incorporate precision milled slots to reduce harmonic resonance issues. The black Magni brake rotor coating barrier applied maintains superior corrosion resistance and ensures quick and easy bed-in that resists galling and is Salt-spray tested per ISO-9227, exceeding the 240 hours requirement.
