The Hawk Performance HKC4930.675F Brake Kit includes HPS Pads and Talon Slotted & Drilled Discs for the rear of the vehicle. Hawk High Performance Street (HPS) disc brake pads are designed to increase stopping power by 20-40% and offer higher resistance to brake fade compared to most standard replacement pads. This results in better pedal feel and consistent performance with less dust. The optimal operating temperature range for these pads is 37-260°C, with a maximum operating temperature of 370°C. Hawk's Talon performance brake discs are manufactured in ISO certified facilities in North America from grade 3000 cast iron. They feature a black coating for superior corrosion resistance and quick, easy bed-in that resists galling. The discs incorporate slot and drill designs to optimize thermal efficiency, heat dissipation, strength, and improve wet braking. They are balanced and include precision milled slots to reduce harmonic resonance issues. The HPS brake pads provide a smooth braking feel, are gentle on rotors, and offer extended pad life, making them suitable for spirited driving. For improved brake pad “bite,” the racing-style hook-slots from Hawk’s DTC racing rotors are integrated into these Talon performance brake discs, making them ideal for high-performance driving, towing, and even track days. The kit includes 2 rotors and 1 set of pads.
