The Hawk Performance Talon Brake Rotor and Pad Kit is a comprehensive performance upgrade. It combines Hawk Performance Ceramic (PC) pads, known for their extremely quiet operation, ultra-low dust, improved stopping power, and stable friction output across a 100-650°F operating temperature range (optimal 100-450°F). These pads are gentle on rotors and provide a linear friction profile for effective ABS system operation. The kit also includes Hawk Talon Drilled & Slotted rotors, which are high-quality, high-carbon rotors built to OE specifications, weights, and production processes. They feature Hawk Performance's unique DTC curved slot design for improved brake pad "bite", reduced noise, and enhanced heat dissipation and wet braking. The rotors are precision engineered, machined, finished, and coated in North America in ISO certified facilities. They are produced from Grade 3000 Cast Iron and feature a Black Magni coating barrier for superior corrosion resistance, quick bed-in, and resistance to galling, exceeding ISO-9227 salt-spray test requirements for 240 hours.
