This Hawk Performance Talon Brake Rotor and Pad Kit, featuring cross-drilled & slotted rotors and LTS (Light Truck and SUV) compound pads, is designed to significantly improve stopping power and fade resistance for light trucks and SUVs, particularly those used for moderate towing. The rotors are crafted from Grade 3000 Cast Iron, are black coated for enhanced corrosion resistance, and incorporate Hawk's unique DTC curved slot design to optimize thermal efficiency, heat dissipation, and wet braking. The LTS pads are made from a Ferro-Carbon friction material, providing a strong, balanced initial bite (hot or cold), excellent fade resistance, low dust, and extended pad and rotor life. The kit is engineered to OE specifications, weights, and production processes for a direct fit without modification, and offers 20-40% more stopping power compared to stock replacement pads. It has also been salt-spray tested per ISO-9227, exceeding the 240 hours requirement, ensuring long-lasting durability and appearance even in harsh conditions.
