Description

This Hawk Performance Talon brake kit includes drilled and slotted rotors along with HPS (High Performance Street) brake pads, designed for the front of the 2013 Acura ILX Hybrid. The HPS pads are a Ferro-Carbon compound offering 20-40% more stopping power and increased resistance to brake fade compared to OEM pads, with reduced brake dust. The Talon rotors are made from Grade 3000 Cast Iron, are OE-spec, and feature a DTC-curved slot design to improve pad bite, heat dissipation, and wet braking. They are also treated with a Black Magni coating for superior corrosion resistance.
