The Tanks Inc. GM42A is an EFI-ready fuel tank specifically designed for 1968-1969 Buick Skylark, Special, GS, and Oldsmobile Cutlass, 442, and F85 models. This improved tank features notched corners (7" in and 7" back) to provide enhanced clearance for larger tires and exhaust systems, making it ideal for mini-tub applications. The rear of the tank maintains stock depth, while the front is 1" deeper to aid fuel delivery to the pump. Constructed from galvanized steel and finished with a durable silver powder coating, this tank offers both robust protection and a clean appearance. It comes with a filler neck and a 2-piece neck design that connects with supplied rubber hose. The tank is equipped with EFI-style internal baffling and a large 4.8-liter dual-tube baffled fuel tray to prevent fuel pump starvation, ensuring reliable performance for pro-touring, autocross, or road racing vehicles. It also utilizes a 5-bolt sender design and is recessed for easy installation, appearing similar to an OE tank once fitted. The capacity is 20 gallons, and the dimensions are approximately 39-3/4" x 25" x 8-3/4". GPA series fuel pumps and aftermarket 5-bolt senders. Longer mounting straps are included.
